The New Website - what's new?

Dear Members, Some of you will be aware that the new PCU website and domain is now up and running:  The old website address will automatically redirect to the new website for a year ahead to ensure a smooth transition. Please publicise the new website and URL with your networks.

Viviane Carneiro and I have been working on it for some time and as such have ensured all the content from the old website: forums, articles, news, etc has been transferred from the old to the new.

So what’s new? - The new publicity leaflets are linked to the homepage to share.- A simple member signup form - The new notices area integrates news, notices such as meeting minutes, AGM notes, etc and articles into one place that as a powerful search and ‘tagging’ system to search through our archive The old forums and groups have been combined into a user friendly interface.  It is easy to follow a forum discussion and receive notifications by clicking on the three dots menu on either a group or discussion and choosing “follow” you will then receive email notifications when a new message is posted.  Please note the old forum data has been transferred in chunks and over the next week this will be tidied up into individual messages. - The members area includes the members map (soon to include search by area bar) for networking, events listings, you can create a profile, etc: The website is mobile optimised which means you can engage in forums, etc on your mobile device with ease- The website is run through Wix  and if you download the App from the Apple iOS iPad or iPhone or Android tablet or smartphone App store this helps for a much more mobile friendly way to use the interactive areas such as the forum and receive notifications via the app when new messages are posted.  To signup to the new website go to, click members login at the top right of the website menu bar.  On first accessing the site, click 'Don't have an account? Sign Up' below the login box to create an account using your email and a password. The PCU administrator will review your website request to confirm you are a member.  Once completed you will receive an email confirming your access to the site. Please bear with us during this process as it will take a little time to confirm existing members.  If you have any questions or thoughts on the new website and how we can use it you can add them to the forum / group discussion: Warm wishes,  Jamie & Viviane on behalf of the PCU Committee
