The Interim Committee met at the end of April in London. It was an opportunity for some of us  to meet in person for the first time, see how we're working together, and what might be emerging as priorities for PCU.

Out of this, and arising from issues members have been raising, came the plan for a Campaigning Conference, focused on unpaid work and charitable agencies, with space for input on other campaigns members want to see happen.

More details to follow, but keep this date in your diaries: Saturday October 1st, London (venue tbc)

Thankyou to all who responded to the call-out for volunteers to support individual members with issues around complaints, workplace difficulties and training issues.

if you have joined since then, or feel you could be available to contribute in this way, please email:

The Union is currently involved in supporting five members across a range of issues, including support with appeal processes, workplace harassment, and training organisation accountability.
